Disinfection is the standard for safety in the professional beauty world, however, not everything can be disinfected.
Only non-porous items such as plastics and metals can be disinfected.
Anything that cannot be disinfected must be considered single-use and be disposed of after use.
Examples of items that CANNOT be disinfected and would be single-use are:
- Cotton
- Orange Sticks
- Nail Files
- Pumice Stones
- Buffing Blocks
- Chamois
